Hi guys

Not checked in for a while as I've been struggling with training for the big one on 17th April. A triumpant 20 mile race in Wymondham on 6th March (2:34, a full 6 mins inside my 'dream time') has been followed by another superb week of training. Then, as soon as I return home to Fuerte I'm struck down with a throat infection which stopped me running for over a week and now I'm gingerly getting back to things along with a residue tightness in my throat. Felt quite ill after 20 mile training run on Monday. Desperate to throw in some speed work, but can't yet.

Anyone else wish they could move it back a month? Maybe I should ask? I'm feeling like my aim of a 3:30 debut marathon is slipping from my grasp. Two and a half weeks now...
