You need to see the quack for a medical certificate for this Marathon as part of their entry requirement. I think the French don't want any comebacks if you keel over on their turf.

My cheeky GP charged a fiver for the privilege, tested my blood pressure and that was that. Filled out a docket giving me a clean bill of health.
Roger wasn't charged at all - depends on who you see I guess.

You then hand this over when you register @ the Expo.

For any more gen on this race - you need to delve into Sweder's Archive for his eloquent, often hilarious account of the 2006 race.:o
