Jog shop joggers,
There has been some discussion at the track sessions @Brighton and Hove AC on Tuesday night about the Paris marathon for 2007.

Has anyone considered it or interested in doing it ?
Hi Gary.

Not an option for me as I'm doing the Two Oceans around the same time.
A few of us ran Paris this year and loved it - it's a great Big City race with good crowds, chaotic scenes and a wonderful atmosphere.

See you on Sunday.
Hi Gary i sighned up for Paris last night . But i have been asked to send a medical certificate, does anybody know anything about this. I know i,m an old fart but surely this is,nt followed up.

Hiya Steve

You need to see the quack for a medical certificate for this Marathon as part of their entry requirement. I think the French don't want any comebacks if you keel over on their turf.

My cheeky GP charged a fiver for the privilege, tested my blood pressure and that was that. Filled out a docket giving me a clean bill of health.
Roger wasn't charged at all - depends on who you see I guess.

You then hand this over when you register @ the Expo.

For any more gen on this race - you need to delve into Sweder's Archive for his eloquent, often hilarious account of the 2006 race.:o
