Hi Almeria gang.

It was good to pop in to Al Frescos and say hi to you all on the way to our dinner after the 10k.

You definately made the right restaurant choice and thank goodness you didn't come along to Freemasons with us.

About 40 hungry runners turned up and after placing out orders the food did not start to arrive until 90 minutes later. First we got 2 plates of lamb. Then 10 minutes later 2 plates of veggie, followed by another 2. Then another 10 minutes later 3 plates of beef followed by NOTHING.

At this point it was 2 hours after ordering and people were starting to leave and the remaining hungry people decided to venture across the road to another restaurant to try and get dinner.

Gary and I were one of the lucky few getting fed but the portion did not satisfy my tummy so were ended up going to Tesco for fruit and dessert!!

We should have come to Al Fresco. Well done on your choice of restaurant .
