March, Week 4: BST

Andy and Nigel (the Callous Brothers) unfortunately twigged that I posted in the early hours of April 1st . . .

. . . and actually the only damage done was to my running shorts. I'm still pretty miffed about the shorts, but thankfully they appear repairable and I can still go to the ball on the 17th

Planning a gentle 5 mile plod in the fabulous English Spring sunshine this evening. Weekend looks like being a warm one, so perhaps Sunday will be 12 easy miles across the downs as the taper takes hold.

I can't believe it! I didn't even think about it being April 1st. But at least I make you feel good knowing you got at least one person with your 'joke'.

Now if you do come up injured there won't be any sympathy!

That was a cracker, Sweder. Must admit you got me going for quite a few minutes myself at first last night, as I staggered in very late and less than compos mentis from a dinner in London.

Have a great 12 miler this weekend, and make sure you keep a needle and thread handy, just in case.

My 10 year old daughter got me bang to rights this morning.
She faked a phone call to our house (using my mobile phone) answered the call and announced to Mrs S and I, as we rubbed the sleep from our eyes, that 'Nanny's on her way down to see us'.

We stopped flapping around in an undignified manner when Phoebe collapsed in a fit of giggles. Doh!
