Sing Along...
One man went to mow,
Went to mow a meadow,
One man and his dog,
Went to mow a meadow
Two men went to mow,
Went to mow a meadow,
Two men, one man and his dog,
Went to mow a meadow
Three men went to mow,
Went to mow a meadow,
Three men, two men, one man and his dog,
Went to mow a meadow
Four men went to mow,
Went to mow a meadow,
Four men, three men, two men, one man and his dog,
Went to mow a meadow
Went to mow a meadow

Shall we see who can find the oldest version of this story on the web? I call 28th September 2007, when the cashier has mysteriously teleported to the other side of the world.

I sense an American hand in there somewhere.

But anyway, it was lucky that there was someone on hand with a tape recorder to capture the extraordinary verbal skills of the 'Gentleman'.

Beat you! 11 Sept 07: http://lfbuk.blogspot.com/2007/09/nail-on-head.html

Someone comments: "This story has been doing the rounds in various versions. Some take place in america, some in canada, some australia and some the UK.

It is very unlikely to be true. Any woman in a Burqha would be unlikely to be found out shopping without a husband, son or brother present.

Likewise, she would be unlikely to be outspoken. The more liberal muslims who let their women go out alone would be wearing more western style clothing.

Sounds like anti-immigration propaganda to me."

I did think you weren't that much of an idiot, SP.

EG, this is what happens when everyone is sitting around holding their breath, waiting for your RHM report. Smile

In other news . . . Richard Millhouse Nixon and Hunter S Thompson have been successfully cloned for a celebrity death-match cage fight at Ceasars Palace. Well, I'm getting reports that Shearer's taken over at Newcastle . . . thought I'd go for some slightly less preposterous seasonal japery Wink
