Hows about getting back in the saddle then?
Never too early to start prep for Almería dude . . . though you're obviously up to speed with the latest rehydration techniques . . . Wink

Jokes aside, SP, why not join the new wave of enthusiasm here? After a couple of runs you'll realise how much you've missed it.

At the very least, I hope we'll see you in Almeria 08.

The Mighty Plodder was spotted roaming the fairways of Knole Park Golf Club on Monday. He looked in fine form, swinging sticks like the most enthusiastic lumberjack, hacking his way to a respectable score (considerably better than - ahem - 'some others' taking part).

Rumours of his demise are, to use the venacular, exaggerated.

The Mighty Plodder has been drafted into the +45 - veterans Eek - Sussex County Tennis squad. All leg-pulling aside this is possibly the highest official sporting attainment of any of our diarists (I stand to be corrected), so hearty congratulations big fella. I had no idea they were that desperate Big Grin

More details please, large one.

Nice one SP - some match reports would make interesting reading. Have you played at or come close to county level in your, er, younger days?

Andy, isn't there some forum rule against this level of sporting competence?

Aw shucks. Cheers mate I'm touched.

Given that all tracks sound the same, I'm guessing that was my favourite. :p
