One of my JDRF committee members - the same guy who wrote the piece about finishers at the FLM - sent me this link, forwarded by some friends in New Zealand who'd read his FLM piece.

Me too BB . . . I was pretty shocked that the girls approved release of the footage. It looked like some kind of cruel Mengele-esque (that's not a word) experiment. Compelling though . . . that incredible will to finish . . . and then the bombshell that they were - well, let's not spoil the ending . . .
