I'll miss the next two Sundays Stevio - I'll be back in time to cheer on the Hastings Heroes though Big Grin

This Jungfrau race looks like a real corker. Sad to say I have two monster events during September 2009 so that's out. Looking at the promo photos this is a hard-top event (at least for some of the way) so even less likely to stay on my radar. What a course though eh? Magnificent.

Sneaked in a quick 5 miler this morning. It's been a mad, mad week so far; meetings, travel, dinner on lake Geneva at the Bains des Pacqui (a fabulous location for fondue and mulled wine of which hopefully more later), revenue and customs briefings, a major tender to complete, a three hours sales briefing this afternoon and all aboard the transatlantic airliner tomorrow morning.

In this spirit of whirling insanity I flew out the door and into the hills, scampering into the early climbs like the White Rabbit. If only Alice had played that excellent Jefferson Airplane track right then! Of course he didn't, but he did play Hotel California, the soft gentle rhythms and lilting harmonies at odds with my brutal assault on the muddy trails.

I crashed home in 42:59, without looking some sort of PB for the course, at least post knee-knack. Sadly I've barely time to slap myself on the back before plunging into the next project. Enough time to say how great it is to see the support and sponsorship rolling in at www.justgiving.com/moyleman - the old boy got another year older yesterday and I hope this gathering support is adding to his strength and resolve.

Good luck to Phoebes - she has her grade 4 ballet exam this afternoon, right after a daunting trip to the orthodontist. Phew! Track du jour -Ironman, Black Sabbath. Get in!

No result from the exam yet but the next Darcy Bussell tells me it 'went pretty well'.
I'm sat in Heathrow T3 listening to Girlschool on my i-pod watching the multi-cultural world go by and thinking about those poor bastards in Mumbai.
As Ray Davies once intoned 'it's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world' alright.

Nope, I'm in Brazil, back next Sunday (tho not running, at least not at the marina). I'll see you at or after Hastings.
