 Excellent stuff. There is perhaps a book to be written about getting people off their arses to write books...and indeed a book to be written about writing books about getting people off their arses to write books, and so on. What Charliecat5 is too modest to mention is that he wielded the official timekeeping devices, to great effect, though it would have been nice to have a few minutes shaved off my time, to bring me under two hours. 
It was a splendid day, the downs at their finest. Thanks to everyone from Lewes AC who helped me flog myself round.
