RE: 2012
I'm confused too, EG. How is a calendar a running gadget?

Oh come on ... it's a gag. Not that subtle surely?
I supposed he might have gone for one of these to hammer home the joke ...

I suspect the inference is some of us measure our running in months rather than hours and minutes. Unless ... nah, that's it.

RE: 2012
Missed Wilmslow half!!! Had too much walking/sightseeing/cycling in Berlin the week before, couldn't prise myself out of bed at such an ungodly time in the morning...I'm rather glad I didn't do it really, I don't think I would have faired very well in 20 + degrees. Off to China on Good Friday, will probably confine myself to treadmill running there. I believe the traffic is a bit hairy to attempt any road running! I'll keep you posted. It might be interesting to take my new Garmin on sightseeing trips 'though!

I didn't think it was that subtle, but at least it gives me the excuse to re-read and to re-post the link to this wonderful, this best ever, piece of running writing.

I'd be as worried about the dust as the traffic in Chinese cities SW. Safe travels and if you stop over in HK look up the HHH. There's usually a run every evening, plus there are several for ladies only. A wild bunch indeed.

RE: 2012
It's Good Friday as I write this (local time) so chances are you won't see this until after you've left, but bon voyage, safe travels and have a great time in China. Hope you get to do some running whilst there with hubby!
Run. Just run.
