Narrow Dog - marathondan - 28-08-2014

I read the third instalment of Terry Darlington's travelogue series on my hols, Narrow Dog to Wigan Pier. I think his worldview is likely to resonate with RCers. And it turns out that he's also an accomplished marathon runner, having formed the UK's (Europe's?) first veterans' marathon club, before becoming a best-selling writer later in life. What's not to like?

A light read, with plenty of wry smiles. Read them in order (Carcassone - Indian River - Wigan Pier).

Cheers Dan, I needed some good reading material to fill the void
*cackles hysterically as he's dragged to reading backlog hell*

It has whippets, too. And no speech marks. I think you'll like it.
