Hola Plodder! Sorry you couldn't make it this morning, it was lurvely.
When's Reading again? I get horribly confused with dates and stuff . . . logistics hey? Bloomin' nightmare. I'm looking at the Runners World FLM training run in Richmond on the 27th Feb (15 miles, week after Brighton Half). It looks like a good opportunity to test your race day pace with RW pacers on hand. Check it out via the RW web site.

gone manic. I didn't get in until gone 10 last night, so had to cry off. Sorry!

Will do 5 miles this evening though.Smile

The Reading half (if I've entered the right race Eek ) is Sun 6 March.

In that case . . . I'll go for it.
That'll be my last competitive outing before London. If Nigel's observations on the debilitating effects of halves on full Marathons (if run too close together) is right, and I think it is, I'll stick to long off-roaders and mid-week street work after that. I'll have to get new leggings if my street work's going to pay off though Wink

It will be great to meet the RC team in Reading and take part at that half as well. I entered yesterday night. From 5th March the entry is a bit more expensive.

Regards

Antonio

Sorry 5th February.

I can't open the site!!!
It's not having it . . . probably waiting till the 5th Feb to hike the entry fee!
Entered the Richmond training run on RW though . . . free entry and race-pacers from sub 3 up to sub 5 hours. Should be good.

OK, managed to access the site via Plodders' mirror address, and I'm in.
Slight problem is it's my Daughters' 10th Birthday that day . . . I wonder if she'd like a trip to Reading for her Birthday? Sad

Might have to bail on this one. Diplomatic moves commence this evening . . .
