Posting problem - Peterward - 09-05-2005

Andy

I can't post on the training diary. It gives the error I copied below:

Peterward, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Thanks

Peter

Sorry, I'll take a look.

Pete, try again. I've made you a moderator, which may be what was required.

I don't think I ever received an activation e-mail (dam spam killer). Is it possible to resend an activation e-mail?

Sorry to be such a bother.

Pete

That shouldn't be necessary, Peter. There's no manual 'wait for approval' system here. (There could be, but I've chosen not to implement it.) If you've been posting happily since you joined, that seems to suggest that you're OK. Have you tried posting again on the diary? I've made peterward a moderator for that forum, which should definitely allow you to post there.

I'll wait for the reply before trying something else.

Cheers

Andy
