Now checking weather every few hours.... has changed from 8hrs rain 'realfeel' -4 degrees; to sunny, 'realfeel' +18 degrees (WOT???? in Ireland?).

Running mate concerned that even jellybabies may not do the trick, and worried that we may not be able to shoehorn both hot weather running stuff and arctic layers into Ryanair cabin allowance....

I am never, never, never going to do this again....

think of me sunday

Good Luck!
And . . . get some early nights in!
You might not sleep too well the night before (unless you take my advice and have at least one Guinness before bedtime) so catch up on your zeds tonight & tomorrow. Can't wait to hear all about it. Safe travels and enjoy!
Good luck Katy! You've done the training, now you just have one last long run to do...you will do it. I hope the weather is a nice cool temperature for you. I'll be cheering for you on Sunday.

Yeah, go for it Katy -- you'll be fine.

As for the weather, it will probably be all of those things and more, knowing the west of Ireland. Everyone's different, but personally, for the race itself I would go for the teeshirt or vest option, regardless of the weather.

Can't wait for the report. We may need to pick your brains about the race as a few of us have expressed an interest in doing it, or the half, next year.

As for "I am never, never, never going to do this again" -- Big Grin -- we all say that, until the next time.

Enjoy the Guinness rehydration.
Hurrah! The first marathon of the season.

Good spot, Dan.

If that's Katy, that's a corking time for what I think is quite a hilly marathon.

By the way, entries for next year are now open Smile. Sunday April 11, 2010.

Positive ID someone please!
Probably our gal . . . all that hill training around Brighton paying off.
Moves afoot to visit this race next year . . . Smile

No doubt we'll coax a race report out of K once she's recovered.
From the rehydration I mean Big Grin
