Controversy surrounds the untimely death of 'Crococdile Hunter' and TV celebrity Steve Irwin.

Sad news indeed.

We all enjoyed his programs made with unique, infectious enthusiasm.

Although people are saying that he died doing what he loved, 44 is way too young. I believe his youngest is only 3. A sad day.

Interesting to hear MLC's slant on this.

I was very touched to hear the Australian Prime Minister, John 'stiff right arm' Howard, reflecting that 'Steve died doing a typically Australian thing'.

What? Jumping on the back of a large, poisonous creature? It's a miracle there's anyone left alive down there...
