Thursday 26 October, my favourite folkie, Jez Lowe, is playing the Royal Oak, Lewes.
I've seen Jez around 40 times now, all over the country. Excellent songwriter and musician; and very personable. From Co Durham, sings mainly about the NE. Can be very funny, can be melancholy. Very easy to listen to, and to enjoy. The darling of Folk On Two and Mike Harding, though that may not seem much of a recommendation.
If you can, pop along and see him. I'd invite myself down if it wasn't a Thursday.
