Hi Antonio

Looks like we'll be coming out to Almeria again for the half.

Can you confirm that it's on Jan 29 2007?
Hello, Andy

It wil be great to meet you all here next year. I´ve just phoned the local council and the organiser has confirmed me that the half will be on Sunday 28th January.

Looking forward to meeting you again and doing my local half with all of you!

PS. If you need help to book a hotel, just tell me.
Hola Antonio:

I'm getting excited already about coming back to your part of the world. Say, could you give me the website of where to register. I had a Spanish fellow helping me the last time, hopefully I can manage on my own.

Thanks Antonio!

Suzie
Suzie -- the website is http://www.mediomaratonalmeria.com/ but it's still got last year's details up there. Can't even see an ad for 2007. You'll see from the photos at the bottom that the 2006 race was much wetter and colder than last year, so be warned!

I'll start a new thread in the General forum to see who else we can entice. I don't think M will be coming this time, incidentally. She's hinting about going on a shopping trip to Milan the same weekend, which is a rather worrying thought.
Tell M I'll miss not having her there! I can understand the shopping though... even over the excitement of watching us run.

Suzie
It will be wonderful to see you again, Suzie. I´ll try to manage to follow your pace this year so that you don´t overtake me in the last kilometres. As Andy says the website has still last year´s details.

If any of you have any problem with entering, just tell me and I can do it for you.

It´s a pity M can´t come with you, Andy. I hope we all have a good time and good weather. Asthe Spanish proverb says " A la tercera va la vencida" ( third time lucky), although for Suzie, 7º C is hot in winter.

It would be great if other forumites could come such as Sweder, Seafront plodder, Nigel and the new ones who I haven´t met yet.

Regards

Antonio
