Well, it's definitely December. I can tell because the shops are full of mince pies, the Christmas decorations are appearing and there's even a small amount of Christmas music that has somehow sneaked its way into my random play list. And oh, there's a mad, frantic chaotic rush to get a squillion things done before the big day.

The end result is that I'm really tired. Far from training for a Moyleman marathon (which I wasn't anyway, and just as bloody well), whilst I am still running it has become quite suddenly a real struggle. This morning's effort was a token gesture only. I felt tired, and I was tired, giving up after just a few minutes, glad at least to have proven to myself what I had already known, and had at least something to put in the spreadsheet training log.

Never mind, as I say, I'm not in training for any race as such.

We shall just have to see what the rest of December brings.

Injured!

Tis true. I have a slightly torn lower left calf.

Not running for a day or two.

How dull.

I have a cold... I ran with it on Sunday morning in the vain hope that a few Twitten sprints would sort it out.  They didn't. I'm now sitting here feeling sorry for myself.
I'm fat and sloth-like but intend to do plenty about that now I'm home for four weeks.
Let the shedding begin.
