We have LIFT OFF!

[attachment=3024]

The Moyleman 2016 was officially launched at 04:00 on 1st December
Entries are open for registered/ previous participants and volunteers unable to run last year.
General entries will open on 15th December

We have 150 full marathon places and 25 team places (teams of two running half each in relay) available. Runners World are set to feature the Moyleman in their January edition so we expect this to sell out in no time.

All the best with it, ASH!

You mean the jet setting ASH, who hasn't been in the UK much over the last month or so and missed the last two committee meetings?  Tongue

Seriously though... hats off to Moyleman Brian who has been doing all the heavy lifting thus far this year.  Without his efforts we wouldn't have just opened for business.

AND... you don't have to 'wish'... entries are now open... you are welcome to stay with me for the weekend.
Well you know how it is, you have to humour the old dog, or he gets cranky. And yeah, I'd love to come over and stay at your digs, CC5, but I know you'd make me run.

Back to the beer now.
Quite right, Brian Courage has been the main engine this year, with OATR and CC5 in close attendance.
2015 has been incredible (good) and incredibly demanding (not so good). I'm sat now in Vancouver airport, heading home after three weeks on the road. I'm looking forward to getting home and into some sort of shape for a half in January,

The Moyleman remains dear to my heart, of course. With a Runner's World feature in the works (I played a small part in getting that off the ground, OATR did the interview), the 2016 event promises to be a corker. I think this one will run and run ...
Brief update: as of last Friday we had +50 confirmed runners booked in.
On Saturday night we published the entry link on our Facebook page.
Seems we will fill up before the turn of the year.

On, on ...
Good news indeed. Well done all.
And as of tonight, 70 registered. Picking up pace nicely.

Hello, World

Wow, page 107?! The Aussie edition never gets to that sort of size. I presume you are talking the UK version, Sweder. Do you know if it's going international (I'm guessing not, but haven't checked yet)? Can you scan it??
Here's a photo. I'm restricted to 500kb size images on here, hopefully you can read it.
Otherwise I'll e-mail you a higher-res. This is the 'World' March 2016 edition
Brilliant, thanks mate. I really want to run this beast one of these years. It will happen. It must!
Congratulations, A.! This race is going to be well-known all over the world. I also expect to be able to go and take part in it in the future.

That would be perfect, Antonio. You could run it, or you could be our official starter one year, then ride around the course with me. It really is a lot of fun!
I think that I'd love to ride the course on bicycle with you, S., since doing the full marathon must be really tough for my poor level.

We missed you all this morning at Almería half marathon. I managed to finish it but from km 3.5 I felt some pain in my left calf and from km 15 in my right calf as well. I finished in two hours twenty but I'm glad I've been able to finish my fifteenth consecutive local half marathon.

Congratulations Amigo! How wonderful. I hope we will see a race report in your diary soon.
I hope to return to Almeria, perhaps in 2017, with a group of runners. Camilla really wants to come back asnd I think ChasrlieCat would love it, too. Let's see what happens.

Hey WHAT?

Hell YEAH! You're not really a member of RC until you've run Almeria!

Oh, wait...
Gracias, amigos.

It'll be a pleasure to meet old friends again and new ones here.

I'm very lazy in writing race reports lately but I'll make an effort.
