I'm very lazy in writing race reports lately but I'll make an effort.

Yes, please do Antonio. Your fifteenth consecutive Almeria half marathon deserves a race report; that's an amazing effort. Congratulations and well done!

Hey WHAT?

Dude, you would LOVE this race. It makes the Moyleman look like a well-oiled machine.
Which of course it is ...

Here's the 2006 race
and one to send shivers down any race organiser's spine, the quite remarkable 2007 race , complete with commentary from the enigmatic Ana. I wonder where she is now?
Always said I 'd have to make one appearance at Almeria before I hang the road runners up! It would take a bit of planning though....
I just received our Moyleman Relay numbers (2 sets of 1-50)
Each relay runner (2 per team) wears the same number, so 2 x nukber 1, 2 x number 2 etc. They also get a Moyleman wristband to hand per at half-way (we're insisting on this after a few took liberties last year). We plan on having 25 teams of 2, but we might have a few more.

The Full marathon runners, around 150 of then this year, wear 51+
The stripes are inverted to help the timekeepers and checkers ID relay runners as they approach.

The relay teams will start appx 20 minutes after the full marathon runners. This is so that an uber fast duo don't cross the line before our ultimate champion. Last year's winner finished seconds under 3 hours. This year there's a young man who has estimated 2'50". Exciting times.
Wow, 2h50m on that course? Amazing!
