Er, no running as yet in my new home town, although I have been scouting out running routes. Would have got started by now but the weather has been atrocious and other such feeble excuses.

Took advantage of a day off to do some some pub-crawling sight-seeing today... photo attached of one of the better known landmarks of Old Sydney Town, although no explanation was forthcoming at all for the crushed car in the foreground. Whether or not it was related in any way to the World Youth Day banner fluttering above I know not...

I guess it's just the standard way of dealing with any vehicle left parked in the middle of a plaza. Understandably, it will take you a little while to get used to the way things are done in your new city.
