In an effort to quell a rising tide of local interest we've opened pre-registration to local runners. This has been announced today on the Moyleman Facebook page
It bears repeating here for those who prefer not to venture into that realm:

Race Entry News! Pre-entry now OPEN
RACEDAY: Sunday 15th March 2015
COURSE: 26.2 miles, hilly, (mostly) offroad, tough

It's true we've had a technical hitch with the race website (we haven't finished/ launched it yet) but time waits for no man or woman, and a few of you are getting restless, so ...

We hereby launch a simple race pre-entry for local runners (Brighton/ Lewes/ Seaford). No money will change hands until the race entry proper is launched. When it is, we will contact you by e-mail and you can then formally enter the race and pay the entry fee.

Simply send an e-mail to
moyleman2015@hotmail.com, stating

My name is (first name, surname)
Date of birth (dd/mm/yr)
Please reserve my place in the Moyleman 2015
Club name (if applicable)
Contact (e-mail address)

Pre-entries are now OPEN
They will close on Monday 17th November 2014

Formal entries will go live at the end of November/ early December. All pre-registered runners will be written to then. Thank you for your patience, please put the word in the street.
Quick update.
We've had circa 140 pre-entries (chuffed)
Little else had happened as we've lost one of our triumverate to circumstance and the remaining two have been buried with work.

Next up, we need to create and launch our website, set a race fee and open entries.
December will be a busy month.
On, on!
140! That's amazing - well done, Sweder.

So says the man who will be swanning around the course in a four wheel drive.  The lead bike is starting to panic about his ability to stay ahead of the hungry pack of runners.

Especially when the lead biker hasn’t actually been on his bike for six months.
Six months eh? Oh I wouldn't worry too much. I might be very, very frightened though.
I had no idea you were getting me a course buggy!
How wonderful. Will there be a beer fridge on board?
