pam

just wanted to say hello and see how you were doing. good to see you're still running. i'm trying to keep at it, but am currently concentrating on losing weight so i can be effortlessly faster. Smile

am shooting for the flying pig marathon in cincinnati (ohio, usa) as my next marathon on may 1, 2005.

is too hot to run outside in louisiana right now! wish i was there...
Hi Pam, great to hear from you. I always worry that my American friends are going to take my comments about your president personally. I adore almost all you gorgeous people over there, but not the politicians.

Good luck for the Flying Pig. There are plenty of US races I'd like to do, and that's one of them, but I can't remember why. Perhaps it was just the name that appealed.

I'm running again after a bit of a lay-off and a great holiday, sorry, vacation, in Cuba. Too much rum and too many cigars, but I didn't want to offend the locals by refusing their hospitality. it's been hard to get back into it, as always, but my run this morning, through the centre of rainy Leeds was much better. I'm hoping to go up a notch over the weekend, and perhaps do 5 or 6 miles to get me on my way to proper marathon training.

I'm thinking about doing the Dublin marathon in October.

Do keep in touch, and let us know how your training is going once you get the Flying Pig off the ground.

Lurve to Baton Rouge and Louisiana.

Andy
