I think you need a "conditional if" option as well. Although only if and when certain criteria are met... obviously.

Of course we should have polls. As long as the voluntary voting is not vetoed and results really remain confidential and non-compulsory from a confidential, yet non-conforming point of view. Frankly I'm surprised that the issue is even an issue as the issuing an ultimatum on the issue merely surprises me to the point where ultimately I am blasé to the blasted point of frankly being, (from a susceptibly weak, yet slightly somewhat susceptible standpoint) non compos mentis to which I may (or may not) add, depending upon other ostensible occurrences unmentionable in certain sects or circles viz-a-viz and notwithstanding notable nuances and issues, that we should lay off the beer and get out more...
